Cancellation & refunds

Weddings and events

• You pay a 20% advance to reserve your date, only after your site visit and once you have accepted your plan.
• Your agreement sets out how much of the advance and later payments can be refunded if you cancel, based on how far before the event you cancel. We share this schedule with you before you pay.
• Money already paid to venues, vendors or makers for your event follows their own cancellation terms. We show you those terms before we book them, and we always ask them for the best refund they can give.
• If you want to move your date instead of cancelling, tell us as early as you can. We will try to move every booking, subject to venue and vendor availability.
• If we have to cancel your event for a reason within our control, we refund everything you have paid to Vivaah Vista.

Favours, gifts and other store orders

• Store requests are quotes. You pay nothing until you accept a quote.
• Favours and gifts are made to order. Your quote states the advance and from when an order can no longer be cancelled, usually once the maker has started work.
• If something arrives damaged or different from what you approved, tell us as soon as you can after delivery, with photos, and we will repair, replace or refund it.

Jewellery and other rentals

• Your quote sets out the rental fee and a refundable deposit.
• We return the deposit once the pieces come back complete and undamaged. If a piece is lost or damaged, we deduct the repair or replacement cost shown in your quote and explain the deduction.

How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the account or card you paid from. We start a refund as soon as we agree it; your bank may take a few days to show it. To ask for a refund, write to concierge@vivaahvista.in with your name and event date or quote reference.
